YAM Teens

It’s free. It’s fun. It’s a chance for teen artists to learn new techniques and focus on their own artistic practice. There is a different project every month and time for self-directed artmaking. Now for artists aged 12 and up.

Benefits To Being a YAM Teen

  • Learn more about the arts from curators, docents, artists and other professionals in a museum setting.
  • Meet other teens who love art too
  • Take part in special art classes with artists.
  • Contribute to the community by volunteering.

September – May We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 3:30 – 5 :00 p.m..
June – August We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

September 9: Join us at 3:30 p.m. on Facebook Live to learn more about YAM Teens and tell us your interests.

October 14: Explore the art of over 60 artists across a huge range of media in Women’s Work: North x Northwest.

November 11: Create sculptures after unearthing artist Tracy Linder’s process in her exhibition Close Range.

December 9: This is your chance to create fiber art after viewing large scale mixed-media fiber works in Brooke Atherton: Mothers and Daughters
