The YAM’s auction was the region’s first and it is still the area’s finest and most exciting auction of contemporary regional art! It’s the place to be, and it’s an exceptional way to support the artists living and working in your midst. Every year, the Art Auction raises crucial support for the exhibitions and educational programs that the Yellowstone Art Museum presents to the community year-round.
Last year’s Art Auction saw 58 live auction and 140+ silent auction items from over 170 artists. Special thanks to the generous support of sponsors, 100+ volunteers, and attendees the YAM raised more than its goal to continue preserving Montana’s artistic past as well as promoting current artistic growth and enrichment. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Noon tours of Art Auction 47 will take place on Wednesdays February 11 and 25, 2015 from 12 to 1 p.m. These tours are free to museum members or included with museum admission. No registration required.
